Your phone, your way

Try every layout in a live preview before you race, and switch from the Pause menu mid-race when something does not feel right.

  • Wheel / Handlebar - drag a wheel (cars) or slide a handlebar (bikes) with pedals on the right
  • Arrow buttons - big left and right pads
  • Joystick + buttons - a floating stick for steering
  • Gyro - roll the phone to steer, gas is automatic, adjustable sensitivity
  • Gamepad - plug in or pair any controller and play with sticks and triggers

Endless maps have no finish line and no timer. The road keeps coming, the traffic keeps getting in your way, and your distance is your score.

Is AIRSHIFT free? Are there ads?

AIRSHIFT is free to download and play. There are no ads and no accounts. Coins are earned by racing; if you want to skip the grind you can optionally buy coin packs with Google Play. Nothing in the game needs a purchase to finish.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The story levels, the garage, Endless mode and all controls work fully offline. The internet is only used to download extra maps and vehicles (online content) and for Google Play purchases.

Which Android versions are supported?

Android 8.0 (API 26) and newer. A phone with 3 GB of RAM or more is recommended for High graphics; use the Graphics setting (Low / Medium / High) if it feels heavy.

How big is the game?

About 80 MB to install. Extra maps and vehicles you download later are tiny recipe files (a few kilobytes each), so they cost almost no storage.

How do I reverse?

Stop the vehicle and keep holding the BRAKE / REV pad (or LT / B on a gamepad). After a short moment the vehicle reverses, and a beeper sounds.
